  • A businessman was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and with a .23 blood alcohol concentration. After jury trial, he was found not guilty.
  • A young man was charged with attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon and use of a firearm. After jury trial, instead of receiving the possibility of life in prison, he was only convicted of attempted involuntary manslaughter and was given credit for time served.
  • A lawyer was charged with felony kidnapping and spousal abuse. After jury trial, he was only convicted of the spousal abuse. The judge reduced the conviction to a misdemeanor spousal abuse with no jail time.
